Phil and May Turner, of Turners Cider, Marden were delighted to hear the news last week that they are finalists in the Taste of Kent Awards.

“What a great way to start a Monday morning! It was a complete surprise, and we are delighted and very proud to be in the top 3 finalists in the ‘Kent Cider or Perry of 2018’ category for our Elderflower Cider.
It is fantastic that good quality cider is being recognised in this way and it is a win for all small producers.”

Stanley’s of Marden
Many thanks to all the customers who use the air machine at Stanley’s of Marden, the Harvest Energy Petrol Station, Albion Road, Marden.

We have now raised in excess of £10,000 and for those of you who are unaware, all proceeds (50p a time!) are donated to the Kent Surrey Sussex Air Ambulance. The air ambulance runs purely on donations and provides and invaluable service.

On more than one occasion, we have unfortunately had the machine broken into and the much needed money stolen. A high security device has been installed to eliminate thefts in the future.

Is your online presence up to scratch? Are you still using selfies in your staff personal profiles? Do you struggle to find suitable images for your company publications and marketing materials? If so, there is a new photographer on the block and I would love to work with you to produce corporate headshots that will reflect well on your business.

Firstly let me introduce myself as I am new to the Marden Business Forum. After a 40 year career in Kent Police, I have decided to turn my passion for photography into a business. I love to work with people and photograph them so I specialise in all forms of portrait photography. In my spare time I am an accomplished underwater photographer and also love to work with models and artists to produce beautiful images. As a new business, my prices are reasonable but my work is excellent.
