£2000 National Insurance Contribution Allowance

The government has announced that it is giving up to £2000 in Class 1 NIC allowances to employers from April 2014. This means that your payment to HMRC can be reduced by the amount of employers NIC due, up to a maximum of £2000.

Not all companies qualify. If you employ someone for personal, household or domestic work, such as a nanny, au pair, chauffeur, gardener or care support worker you cannot use the allowance. If you have multiple companies, then only one company can claim.

SSP – Statutory Sick Pay

From the 2014/2015 tax year, companies will no longer be able to claim back any of the Statutory Sick Pay (SSP) that you pay out to employees

Empty out when you next fill up. Households can recycle their electrical waste at Stanley’s of Marden, for free!

Any business with a sizeable amount of electrical waste can have it collected from their premises free of charge, contact Liz Stanley on 01622 831 278 to arrange a collection.
